Federal Help With Housing Costs
The COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for renters and landlords to cover housing costs. Since the CDC moratorium ended on July 31, 2021, many renters are worried about catching up on past-due rent and facing eviction. Help is available.
As a renter—or a landlord—you can apply for money from the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program. The funds are being distributed by state and local organizations to their local communities. This money can help with rent, utility bills and even moving costs.
Use the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new Rental Assistance Finder to find aid based on the state or territory or tribe or tribal lands where you live.

The Mortgage Division COVID-19 Disaster Relief program will end effective September 30, 2021 for conventional mortgages and home equity lines of credit (HELOCs). If you have a question about a request submitted prior to September 30, 2021 or have questions on continued assistance available for FHA, VA and USDA loans, please email [info@customercussonslimited.com].

SBA Disaster Loan Assistance
Consider applying for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). There is no cost to apply and no obligation to take the loan if offered. Apply directly to the SBA’s Disaster Assistance Program, not through a bank. This loan comes directly from the U.S. Treasury.

Our branches are open and ready to serve you. For your safety and that of our branch teams, we ask that visitors where a mask and maintain safe social distancing. If you'd like, you may schedule an appointment online and the branch banker will call or email you to confirm the appointment time. The banker may even be able to assist you by phone to save you the trip.
